If you could have one superpower, which would you choose?
I wish I had the power to never forget and remember everything that I have learned.

What inspired you to become a dermatologist?
When I was in middle school my mother developed Vitiligo, the Michael Jackson skin condition, where one gets white patches. This was devastating to her since she was always complimented on her beauty and now she did everything to hide it. When I was at Rice university, one summer I went to the University of Texas Medical school in Houston looking for a summer job and found Dr. Madeline Duvic who was dermatologist doing research on Vitiligo. I will always be grateful to Dr. Duvic for giving me so many opportunities and encouraging me to get my MDPhD training and for helping me to become a dermatologist. I can not stress enough the importance of research and what an exciting time it is to be in medicine. There is still much work to do but we have come a long way!

Other Activities:
I love to dance, play the piano, travel and hike. I also know tae kwon do!
