Our practice offers the full spectrum of surgical services for the management of skin cancer or other skin conditions requiring surgery. Dermatologic surgery encompasses a wide variety of methods to remove or modify skin tissue for health (skin cancer) or cosmetic benefit (removal of birthmarks or moles). These methods include biopsy, excision, ED&C (electrodessication & curettage), cryotherapy and Mohs surgery. In most cases, skin problems requiring surgery can be addressed in our office, in an outpatient setting, under local anesthesia, with minimal pain and low risk of complications.

Sun exposure is the most preventable risk factor for all skin cancers. We recommend applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen everyday to help prevent skin cancer, wrinkling hyperpigmentation and loss of elasticity.
