We are happy to announce that we are offering teledermatology visits. Online teledermatology visits are web-based, HIPAA compliant, real time visits with both audio and video capabilities. We can diagnose and treat many issues directly through our telemedicine platform. For other issues, we can determine if an office visit is needed. If you have healthcare needs in the coming weeks, including routine follow-up appointments, please reach out to our office to schedule an appointment. These visits are covered by most insurance plans.

If you have an upcoming scheduled appointment, you will be receiving a call from our staff to either postpone your appointment until it is safe to come to the office or to change your visit to a telemedicine visit.
As per the state and federal guidelines, all cosmetic and elective procedures have been postponed. Cosmetic consultations are now available through our telemedicine platform. Consultations will not be billed through insurance and are a $50 charge at time of service. This is a great way to update your skincare routine and learn what products are best for you. Is Telehealth Only Available for Certain Conditions?
We can diagnose over 3,000 skin, hair and nail conditions via our online dermatology care. The most common conditions we treat are acne, suspicious moles, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.
Is This Service Covered by Insurance?
Most visits are now covered by insurance. Call your insurance provider to see if it’s cover under your plan.
Whom Can I Schedule a Telehealth Appointment For?
You can schedule an online dermatology visit for yourself or a member of your family including children.
What If I Need a Skin Biopsy or In-Office Procedure?
If your doctor determines that an in-office procedure is needed, they will discuss this with you during your online appointment. A team member will then call you to schedule an in-office visit as soon as possible. Additional visit costs or insurance claims will apply.
Are My Personal Health Information and Photos Kept Confidential?
Yes! Our online dermatology care platform is secure and HIPAA and HITECH compliant.
Can Telehealth be used for Cosmetic Dermatology Consultations?
Yes, we’re currently offering cosmetic consults through this platform. If you’d like a cosmetic dermatology consultation, please call our Edina location at 952-902-3808 to set up an appointment. They’re affordable at $50 out-of-pocket per visit. We will not bill your insurance for this type of appointment.
