Our Commitment

Dermatology Specialists remains committed to patient and employee safety as we continue to follow CDC recommendations for healthcare facilities. We care deeply about patient health and have implemented several infection prevention measures to ensure the highest level of safety when you visit our clinic.

If you are experiencing a cough, fever, or shortness of breath or have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, please call to reschedule your appointment.

Face Coverings

To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, face coverings are required whenever you visit our office. Masks or cloth coverings must be worn over your mouth and nose for the duration of your appointment. Members of your care team will also wear masks to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. If you do not have access to a face covering, the CDC website has guidelines for making no-sew, cloth face coverings. Additionally, masks can be purchased from many local and online retailers.

Reduced Contact Check In

In an effort to limit physical interaction, we are embracing contactless practice solutions. We will be securely storing a credit card on file at time of scheduling your appointment, verifying insurance information over the phone and asking you to complete pre-registration online 24 hours prior to your appointment. You can view the complete patient paperwork here. If you arrive early to your appointment, please wait in your car until your scheduled appointment time unless you were instructed to check-in early.

Additional People & Physical Distancing

We ask that all patients attend appointments individually unless assistance with mobility is needed. Minors can be accompanied by one parent or guardian. We will continue to practice physical distancing in our waiting rooms.

Telemedicine

Dermatology Specialists continues to offer telemedicine visits which can be completed from the comfort of your home. To schedule a telemedicine visit please contact our office at 952-920-3808 and one of our reception team members will be happy to schedule your visit. Learn more about telemedicine.

We appreciate your efforts to help protect yourself, our care teams and our entire community.
