On a stand up paddle board in the ocean watching the humpback whales in Maui.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
My father encouraged me from a young age to find a profession where I could come home at the end of the day knowing that I had made a difference. This led me to pursue a career in Dermatology and I truly feel that I have the best job in the world.
Other Activities:
I live in Edina with my wife and our two young children. I love spending time outdoors with my family in all seasons – bike rides, kayaking, hiking and cross-country skiing. I enjoy watching college and professional sports. I grew up in Madison, WI so I maintain allegiances to the Badgers and Packers, but I have grown to love the Timberwolves and the Twins. I enjoy traveling, especially during the Minnesota winter for a quick break from the cold. I have a passion for teaching and I speak frequently, both locally and nationally, training primary care physicians and future dermatologists.
